Collectible button commemorating the annual Dixon Petunia Festival costs $3
DIXON – A 47-year tradition, the button commemorating the annual Dixon Petunia Festival, dates back to 1964 when the Beta Sigma Phi sorority took its idea before the Dixon Petunia Festival Board.
The board granted it permission to produce the “official” collector’s button to commemorate the festival each year. The button design always revolves around the festival theme, which this year is “Star Spangled Petunias!”
This year’s design was created by Dylan Fransen of Dixon, the Raynor Garage Doors marketing director.
