Petunia Festival begins today with dance
DIXON – This year’s Petunia Festival will kick off tonight with a splash of Petunia Pink Passion.
The pink drink made with a sparkling liquor combining French vodka, sparkling white wine and passion fruit nectar flavors will be served at the “In the Pink” dance, a new addition to the festival.
Hosted by the Lee County Council on Aging, the Post House Ballroom will be decorated with pink tablecloths and painted flower pots, which will be auctioned off through a silent auction to end around 9 p.m. Phaze Band will provide big band-era music, activity coordinator Jennifer Lang said.
