SVM's girl athlete of the year: Jordan Giddings

When Jordan Giddings burst onto the scene as a freshman, she represented a class of players at Rock Falls with a heap of talent and lofty expectations. In 2011-12, fruits started to bear in each season with regional titles. In the middle was Giddings, who is Sauk Valley Media's girls athlete of the year.

Jordan Giddings, with her blonde hair tightly pulled back, cut an imposing figure in the long-sleeved, collared white shirt, black slacks and black tie that is her new uniform as she stepped out of her red Grand-Am.
