New fire truck in Dixon
DIXON – Dixon firefighters are getting acquainted with their new aerial truck.
Representatives from the Alexis Fire Equipment Co. were in town Tuesday to go over the truck’s pump and ladder features, Fire Chief Tim Shipman said. The truck arrived earlier this month.
The firefighters should be ready to put the truck into rotation by mid-July, he said.
