Residents’ electric bills to drop
Sterling to decide the issue next week
MORRISON – The average household in Morrison should see a $26-a-month drop in its electric bills, a utility expert said Monday.
“If your bill was $100 a month, it will be $74. That’s money in your pocket,” Mike Mudge of Oregon-based Rock River Energy said.
His company arranged the bidding process for the city of Morrison, whose voters decided in March to let the city negotiate for lower rates.
