Dive into Rock River leaves man seriously injured
DIXON – A Dixon man was being treated for serious head and neck injuries Monday after diving into the Rock River behind Raynor Manufacturing Sunday night.
Brian DeArmitt, 20, was in critical condition Monday night at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Dixon firefighters were called to the site about 7:47 p.m., Chief Tim Shipman said.
