Teresa J. Frank

STERLING – Teresa J. Frank, of Sterling, closed her eyes to awaken in the presence of the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2012. She passed away at home, surrounded by her loving husband and family, after a 16-year battle with cancer. She worked at CVS Pharmacy, formerly Osco, in Sterling for 31 years, most recently working as assistant manager.

Teresa was born May 1, 1953, in Sterling, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Reiger) McCleary. She married Roger Frank on Nov. 22, 1975, in Rock Falls. She was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls and the Sterling American Legion Auxiliary. Teresa enjoyed writing, reading, studying scripture and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Through her years of treatment and mounting medical problems, Teresa continued to keep her faith in God and serve the Lord and others, always with a smile. She was and always will be an inspiration to her family and all those whose lives were touched by her.
