FRANKLIN GROVE – Roy L. Dickey Jr., 66, of Franklin Grove, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Franklin Grove Nursing Center after an extended illness.

He was born June 21, 1945, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Roy L. Sr. and Arlie (Reans) Dickey. He married Mary Therese Way on Nov. 25, 1994, in Ashton. Roy was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Christopher Klenke and Matthew Dickey, both of Franklin Grove; sisters, Linda Kirkland of Franklin Grove, Kelly Bulfer of Ohio and Joanne Bennett of Rock Falls; brothers, Joe (Penny) Dickey of Hardy, Ark., Patrick Gene (Delora) Dickey of Corona, Calif., David Dickey of California and Ron (Patti) Dickey of Ashton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
