DIXON – Raymond G. Burian, 85, of Dixon, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Dixon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was a salesman for Marshall Olds and Ken Nelson Auto Plaza before retiring.

He was born Oct. 16, 1926, in Joliet, the son of Bartholome and Rosalie (Tocek) Burian. He was a World War II Army veteran. Ray married Coralyn J. Rex on Sept. 19, 1953, in Dixon. She preceded him in death on April 1, 2008.

He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Dixon, Knights of Columbus Council 690, American Legion Post 12 and Dixon Elks Lodge 779.
