Polo City Council OKs video gaming
'We may never see the money,' opponent says
POLO – After a lengthy discussion Monday night, the City Council voted 4-2 to allow video gaming.
The Illinois Video Gaming Act, enacted in 2009 but held up in court until recently, allows up to five video gaming terminals in certain establishments that hold liquor licenses, including bars, truck stops, fraternal establishments, and veterans establishments.
The maximum bet will be $2 and the maximum payout will be $500,
