ROCK FALLS – Happy Tails invites the community to celebrate Christmas in July, and bring a little cheer to the animals at its nonprofit, no-kill shelter.

The fun will take place from noon to 4 p.m. July 21 at 1017 Shore Acres Road (take state Route 40 to Dixon Avenue to Emmons Avenue.)

Expect Christmas with all the trimmings: at least 15 fabulously decorated trees, a collection of Santas, a tour of the house all done up for Christmas and a great barbecue. Weather permitting, kids and adults alike can ride on miniature trains pulled by a steam engine and a gas engine.
