Republicans get better ballot spot in 3 of 5 counties
STERLING – Some voters base their choices of candidates for public office on their qualifications and positions on the issues. Others go with personalities or party affiliations.
For a small number voters, however, ballot position has an impact, experts say.
In much of the Sauk Valley, that’s good news for Republicans.
