Not so suddenly, summer
Those who love summer weather got an early taste of it this year. Temperatures in the 80s in early March heralded a very early start to the growing season, the mowing season, and the shorts-and-sandals season.
But people who love summer for festivals, fairs, community activities, plays, and all its other attractions had to wait impatiently on the calendar.
We’re pleased to report that the page finally has been turned on that long spring of 2012.
