Dixon's transparency improves, nonprofit says
Score goes from 16.7 to 65.75 out of 100
DIXON – Dixon’s transparency is “markedly better” than it was a few months ago, an Illinois think tank official said.
Following the arrest of Dixon’s comptroller, the Illinois Policy Institute conducted a transparency audit on the city’s website, something the nonprofit started doing for local governments more than 2 years ago.
At the time, Dixon scored 16.7 out of 100 points.
