Dixon officials now wish there'd been more attention to Crundwell's unpaid time off
DIXON – When two of Dixon’s newly elected commissioners took the job last May, they noticed something weird: the city’s comptroller never seemed to be at City Hall.
Then-Comptroller Rita Crundwell took 12 weeks of unpaid vacation time in 2011 on top of her four weeks paid vacation, according to court documents.
No other city employees received this perk, multiple elected officials said.
