RFHS: Raises, teachers contract on agenda

ROCK FALLS – The Rock Falls High School board of education will vote Wednesday on a contract with the teachers’ union and raises for the principal, assistant principal and noncertified employees.

The collective bargaining agreement with the Rock Falls High School Education Association covers 2 years, 2012-14.

The board will vote on 1-year contract extensions for Principal Ron McCord and Assistant Principal Mike Berentes, both with 2 percent salary increases. McCord’s extension would include 2 more vacation days, Berentes would receive 3 more vacation days.
