POLO – Clifford C. Powell Jr., 81, of Polo, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at his home. He was a crane operator for McGrath Sand and Gravel, Local 150.

Clifford was born July 2, 1930, in Polo, the son of Clifford “Hinkey” and Doris (Neiger) Powell Sr.

Survivors include his daughters, Sandy (Donald) Blanchard of Polo, Dana (Tim) Klenz of Dixon, and Shelly (Tom) Stivers; son, Jim (Paula) Powell of Missouri; brothers, Dave and Mike Powell, both of Polo; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
