MOUNT CARROLL – Bond was set at $30,000 Monday for a Mount Carroll woman charged with leading police on a high-speed chase Saturday from Iowa to Illinois that ended with her hitting a sheriff’s squad.

Linda S. Kadow, 37, will be back in court Friday for a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of a controlled substance, aggravated fleeing, DUI, misdemeanor marijuana possession and reckless driving.

Her passengers, Jeffrey Wright, 22, and Kenny G. Kradle, 31, both of Clinton, Iowa, were charged with illegal transportation of liquor as a passenger, a traffic offense. They will be in court July 9.
