On the edge with tactics like a bully? Is bullying sanctioned by the press?

The reasons for my questions are found in the two stories reported by SVM reporter David Giuliani, on Thursday, June 7, front page and page A4 titled “Board bans book from classroom” and “Village leader caught in book crossfire.” I will attempt to present a summation of the two stories.

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network recommended “The Family Book,” written by Todd Parr, a decade ago. Parr’s intention – use in elementary school education.
