Sheriff praises local businesses
I would like to take this time to thank the businesses that the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office utilized during the purchase and setting up of new squad cars.
We bought new squad cars from Pete Harkness in Morrison. Their staff’s knowledge and attention to detail greatly streamlined a potentially time-consuming project. Our squad decals were designed and made by Foster Coach in Sterling. Their staff is helpful and detail oriented, and the quality product they make was vital in completing this project.
Our squad loans were through Community State Bank in Morrison. When filling out loan application forms, their staff’s knowledge and attention to detail made this process relatively painless.
We receive our quality dog food from Pet Supplies “Plus” in Sterling. Pet Supplies “Plus” has generously donated all dog food for our K-9, Blitz.
In these times of budget constraints, their donation is greatly appreciated.
All the old and new squad car equipment was removed and installed by Lectronics Inc. in Clinton, Iowa. Their knowledge and efficiency made switching out squads quick and easy.
In closing, I would like to urge everyone to “buy local.” You will receive the best service
and assistance from a hometown business.
