Who Else hog roast and more

NELSON – Who Else Inc.’s 41st annual all-day hog roast starts at noon July 21 at Who Else Land, 126 Anderson Drive.

There will be live music and food, horseshoes and bags tournaments, vendors selling leather items and T-shirts, and an on-site tattoo artist.

“Our main headliner is the Kris Lager Band, out of Nebraska,” said Jake Lewis, head of entertainment and advertisement for the club. “The co-headliner will be Eliminator, out of Des Plaines, a ZZ Top tribute band. Trippin Molly, the winner of our Band Jam on June 9, will perform, and we’ll have a DJ.”

Admission is $10 per person, which includes camping that day. Active military members and veterans are admitted free with a military ID.

Pets are not allowed, and although beverages are permitted at the campsites, they are not allowed past the venue gates.

Proceeds benefit charities to which the club donates, and upkeep of the site.

Call Lewis, 815-535-3812, or find WhoElse Land on Facebook for more information or to reserve a site.
