Schilling off the mark on prison issue

It is amazing how an upcoming election can make politicians lose sight of the facts and start relying on an alternate reality that meets their objectives.

It seems our own U.S. Rep. Bobby Schilling has decided that the facts on the Thomson prison sale to the U.S. Department of Justice are not to his liking, so he has decided to make up his own. Schilling is in the same House of Congress that has failed to approve one penny in funding for the purchase of Thomson.

Either the senior congressmen who make the decisions in the House have failed to take seriously Schilling’s requests for federal dollars to buy Thomson, or Schilling has been asleep at the wheel for the better part of his 2-year term.
