The Dixon In Bloom committee would like to thank the Telegraph and SVM reporter Emily Coleman for the coverage of the petunia baskets project that appeared in the April 11 Telegraph. I would like to add some additional information.

The basket project began during the summer of 2011, funded by the Rock River Garden Club. Baskets were hung on the two bridges and the riverfront.

Subsequently, a group of five individuals, members from Rock River Garden Club and Dixon Area Garden Club, wanted to take the project even further.
