Pegasus Special Riders plan fundraising picnic Saturday

OREGON – Pegasus Special Riders’ annual Pegasus Picnic begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at its facility at 6668 S. Carthage Road.

The fun begins with a riding demonstration at 5 p.m., then the Boot Scootin’ Seniors dancers will give a presentation. There will be basket raffles and 50/50 drawings.

Tickets are $10 for ages 6 and older, and include pork chop sandwiches from Ralphie and LuLu’s in Ashton, and other picnic trimmings.

All are invited, and all proceeds benefit the nonprofit, therapeutic horse-riding organization.
