Home invasion case: Woman gets jail, probation
MORRISON – A Sterling woman was sentenced to 6 months in jail and 30 months of probation in connection with a home invasion at a Sterling apartment in January.
Stormee L. Sanders, 24, pleaded guilty Friday to criminal trespass to a residence and misdemeanor battery.
In exchange for her guilty plea, Whiteside County Assistant State’s Attorney Terry Costello dropped the more serious home invasion charge.
