Edible centerpieces to be made June 19

AMBOY – The Lee County Homemakers Association will present an edible centerpieces demonstration at 1 p.m. June 19 at Lee County Illinois Cooperative Extension Service Office, 280 W. Wasson Road.

Members Patricia Wilson and Shirley Rees will show how to make pineapple flowers, cauliflower sheep and cantaloupe leaves, among other things, out of fruits and vegetables.

The public is welcome. Donations will be accepted.
