Village officials want run-down lot cleaned up
FRANKLIN GROVE – Officials see no value in the house at 321 N. Walnut St. They’d like to see it gone.
For the past few years, the village has tried to get the property cleaned up. No one has lived there for a long time.
“There has been trash all over the property at different times,” said the village president, Bob Logan. “Kids are going in and out of it. The neighbors have complained because the grass isn’t mowed, and there are rodents and snakes in the grass.”
