Retiring teacher: Getting to know students is key
DIXON – Education is personal for Sister Lorraine Pratt.
The teacher, who is retiring after 34 years at St. Anne School in Dixon, said a good educator tries to understand her students and help them comprehend material.
“They don’t just try to cover the material, they try to help the children understand and learn, and that takes thinking of the person,” she said.
