Local homeowners may get letters from Bank of America
MORRISON – Executives at Bank of America soon will offer some customers a principal reduction on their mortgage.
In a news release, Whiteside County Recorder Dawn Young said the offer that sounds “too good to be true” could be offered to some select land owners.
The offer is the result of a $25 billion settlement regarding “robo-signed” documents involving the nation’s five largest mortgage services.
