MORRISON – A Morrison man was injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident on East Main Street near Bartlett Street.

Morrison police investigated the accident at 6:41 p.m. A vehicle driven by Jamie M. Buhlman, 18, of Morrison, was entering traffic from being parked, heading eastbound on East Main Street. As Buhlman’s car entered traffic, it struck struck a vehicle driven by Michael L. Roggy, 22, of Morrison, who also was eastbound. Roggy lost control, striking a third vehicle that was parked on East Main Street.

Morrison firefighters removed Roggy from his vehicle, and he was taken to Morrison Community Hospital by hospital emergency medical services. Sauk Valley Media could not get information on his condition Friday.

Buhlman was charged with failure to yield-merging traffic and given a court date.
