‘Country is where my heart is at’

STERLING – Dressed in his signature wide-brimmed black cowboy hat and boots, the 59-year-old is a blue-collar guy – he worked at Northwestern Steel & Wire and Sterling Steel Co. for 18 years. But his real passion is music. He's been in love since he was 9 and the Beatles first hit the scene, when he began singing and playing guitar.
