2-month police investigation leads to drug arrests
WALNUT – After a 2-month investigation, two Bureau County men are facing marijuana charges.
Walnut police, the Illinois Valley Special Response Team, the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department and the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team searched two homes before dawn Friday.
Jay E. Nowman, 52, of Walnut, and Zachary E. Huffman, 18, of rural New Bedford, were arrested.
