ROCK FALLS – Jeffrey L. Kolb, 65, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at his home. He was a factory worker.

Jeffrey was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Rock Falls, the son of Ernest and Josephine (Baker) Kolb. He was a baptized member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling, and was a member of the Moose Club in Sterling. Jeffrey enjoyed golfing, doing crossword puzzles and writing poetry.

Survivors include one daughter, Christie (Jason) Maday, and one son, David Kolb, both of Sycamore; three sisters, Paula Deyo of Coleta, Jill (Don) Hayes of Winter Springs, Fla., and Judy Duis of Mount Vernon; three brothers, Gary (Jeani) Kolb of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Jack Kolb of Sterling and Marc (Lou Ann) Kolb of Rock Falls; and two grandchildren, Warren Maday and Nathaniel Maday.
