ROCK FALLS – The Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce’s annual Basket & Bag Bingo is Saturday at the Rock Falls Community Building, 601 W. 10th St.

“It’s a great annual event, and there are a lot of women who make it a girls’ day out,” chamber President and CEO Doug Wiersema said in a news release. “It’s also a mother-and-daughter event, and we get a few men, too.

People get a chance to win a Longaberger basket or a Thirty-One bag filled with prizes and items from local merchants. It’s a lot of fun.”

Doors will open at 11 a.m. with an early-bird game at 12:45 p.m. Regular games begin at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and include 10 game cards and a door prize ticket. Additional cards are available, and there will be jackpots and raffles.

A light lunch, beginning at noon, and refreshments will be available. You must be 18 and older to attend.

For more information or to reserve a table, go to rockfallschamber.com or call the chamber at 815-625-4500.
