Maher S. Mamatahhah, 31, of Sterling; 1:15 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of West Fourth Street; no valid registration, driving while license revoked; given notice to appear in court.

Leslie W. Greer, 49, of Sterling; 4:55 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Avenue B; Whiteside County warrant for failure to appear in court on a domestic battery charge; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Zachary G. Haggard, 31, of Prophetstown; 1:16 a.m. Saturday at Locust and East Fourth streets; DUI, improper turn, no insurance; notice to appear in court.

State Police

Lynne B. Illingworth, 43, of Papillion, Neb.; 7:23 p.m. Friday on Interstate 88 in Whiteside County; no valid driver’s license, speeding; posted I-bond.

Jack M. Furr, 61, of Sterling; 11:05 p.m. Thursday at West Lincolnway and East Avenue in Sterling; DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding; posted driver’s license and issued I-bond.

Matthew R. Legue, 22, of Rockford; 1:31 p.m. Friday at state Route 72 and North Blackwood Road in Ogle County; speeding, violation of driver’s license classification (no motorcycle endorsement); police say Legue attempted to pass a truck, lost control of his motorcycle, laid it down and slid 20 0 feet, taken to Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.
