Free Christian movie to be shown Friday

STERLING – The movie “Courageous” will be shown free of charge at 6 p.m. Friday at City of God, 912 W. Sixth St.

The Christian drama focuses on four police officers, one of whom loses a child to a a drunken driver, another who is selling selling drugs stolen from the evidence room, and another who struggles to reconnect with a child he fathered while in college, among other trials. The movie is about their struggle and resolution to be good Christian fathers.

Refreshments will be served beforehand. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
