How to submit items for Showtime

Are you a band with a gig you want folks to know about? A club or a bar that offers live music or other entertainment? A school or theater group with a play coming up? A local artist, author or musician who could use a little hometown exposure?

If so, the staff of Showtime, Sauk Valley Media’s weekly entertainment venue, wants to hear from you.

Showtime publishes on Thursday in the Daily Gazette and the Telegraph; the deadline to submit items is the Thursday before, although the sooner an item is submitted, the more times it is likely to appear.
