• Friday’s edition of the Daily Gazette had the wrong location for Sunday’s program of the Sterling-Rock Falls Historical Society. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at Bethel Reformed Church, 230 E. 23rd St. Actress Laura Keyes will portray Mary Todd Lincoln in a program honoring Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. Admission is free for this public program.

We regret the error.

• The Service Employees International Union does not oppose a proposal to institute tougher regulations on funeral protests, Jerry Morrison, the organization’s assistant to the president, said. A GateHouse News Service story in Wednesday’s editions quoted a lawmaker mischaracterizing the SEIU’s position.
