Emma Johnson, 9, of Dixon, works on her painting Thursday afternoon at The Next Picture Show in Dixon. The VIVA! Young Artist Studio is a 10-week art experience for students in the fourth and fifth grades and offers instruction in painting, copper work, watercolors, bookbinding and drawing.
