PAW PAW – Two La Salle County teens are facing many charges stemming from a rash of car burglaries last month.

Jacob P. Theurer and Daniel E. Bigott, both 17 and of Earlville, are charged with 9 and 10 counts of burglary, respectively.

Theurer was arrested Thursday in La Salle County and was taken to the Lee County Jail on a $20,000 warrant. He is expected to appear in court this afternoon.

Bigott was arrested in Cook County on Wednesday on a $10,000 warrant. He will appear in court Feb. 26.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department, the teens stole iPods, I-Passes, and cash from nine unlocked cars in Paw Paw on Jan. 15.

Deputies say Bigott also burglarized a car 2 days earlier.
