FULTON – F. Harold Groh, 93, of 1118 15th Ave., Fulton, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, Iowa. He was most recently employed by International Paper Company and Ralston Purina Company, both in Clinton, retiring in 1981.

He was born Feb. 3, 1919, in Albany, the son of Frederick and Pearl (Jordan) Groh. He married Clara VenHuizen on Sept. 9, 1939, in Clinton. She preceded him in death on June 7, 1999. He was a member of Second Reformed Church in Fulton.

Survivors include one son, Leon Groh of Fulton; one daughter-in-law, Karen Groh of Clinton; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several step-great-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Larry Groh; one daughter-in-law, Donna Groh; one great-great-grandchild; one stepgrandchild; three sisters, Irene, Betty and Virginia; and two brothers, Robert and one in infancy.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Fulton. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Stephan, pastor of Second Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established to Second Reformed Church.
