Randy D. Cover, 54, of Dixon; Tuesday in the 500 block of West First Street; disorderly conduct; posted I-bond.

Sterling Police

Leslie A. Nicewannner, 44, of Sterling; 8:39 a.m. Tuesday at Second Avenue and East Fifth Street; driving with a suspended license; given notice to appear in court.

Luis A. Lopez, 26, of Sterling; 9:34 a.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of East Lincolnway; no valid driver’s license; given notice to appear in court.

Kurt W. Schwab, 38, of Sterling; 12:57 a.m. Tuesday at Second Avenue and East Seventh Street; disobeying a traffic signal; posted driver’s license.

Jacob A. Hemminger, 28, of Sterling; 3:37 p.m. Tuesday at East Sixth Street and Third Avenue; Whiteside County warrant – obstructing a court order; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Kody A. Jackson, 18, and a 17-year-old boy, both of Sterling; 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at Kohl’s; misdemeanor retail theft under $300; Jackson given notice to appear in court; 17-year-old released to his parents.

State Police

Christopher C. Meiers, 28, of Morrison; 11:07 p.m. Saturday at Wall and Orange streets, Morrison; driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, no valid registration; taken to Whiteside County Jail. Arrested at the same time was Marshall T. Smith, 27, of Morrison; illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia; both taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Sheldon T. Magee, 19, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 11:12 p.m. Sunday at state Route 40 and Interstate 88, speeding, driving with a suspended license; posted I-bond.

Patricia A. Shady, 44, of Rock Falls; 12:08 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 30, Rock Falls; driving under the influence, improper lane usage, improper turn; posted driver’s license and $100.

David J. Brown, 53, of Steward; 1:53 p.m. Tuesday at North Seventh Street and Fifth Avenue, Rochelle; driving under the influence, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to yield; posted driver’s license and $100.

Jose M. Martinez, 17, of Aurora; 11:42 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. Route 30 and Sixth Avenue, Rock Falls; driving with a suspended license; posted driver’s license and $150.
