Webelos to work on forester badge

BYRON – Webelos can have fun and earn a badge at the Byron Forest Preserve, 7993 N. River Road.

The forester badge work will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jarrett Center. The cost is $7. Register by Monday.

■ A trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum is planned on Feb. 25 for all ages. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the Jarrett Center. The cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple; museum fees are not included. Register by Thursday.

Two other programs are being planned:

■ Cross-country skiing – From 2 to 4 p.m. March 4, participants of all ages will be welcome to receive ski instructions and then go skiing. Those attending should meet at the Jarrett Center. The cost is $2 per person or $5 per family. Register by Feb. 29.

■ Spotlight on the Moons – This event will focus on the moons of the solar system. The group will meet at 7 p.m. March 2 at the Weiskopf Observatory. This is suitable for all ages, and there is no cost. Register by March 1.
