ROCK FALLS – Thelma Glispie, 86, of Rock Falls, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. She was surrounded by her loving family as she went peacefully.

Thelma was born Feb. 21, 1925, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Cunningham.

Thelma is survived by two sons, Howard (Linda) Glispie of Rock Falls and Paul (Diane) Glispie of LeClaire, Iowa; one daughter, Jody Glispie of Sterling; five grandchildren, Howie (Kim) Glispie, Marsha Glispie, John Glispie, Amanda (Donnie) Rice and Sara (Randall) Powell; three stepgrandchildren, Fred (Kim) Dodd, Carolynn Dodd and Teri (Ricky) Richards; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several step-great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. Glispie; and a daughter, Peggy Glispie.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.

A memorial fund has been established.
