CARROLL COUNTY State’s attorney candidate plans fundraiser

SAVANNA – A fried chicken fundraiser for Michelle Schurman, candidate for Carroll County state’s attorney, will be Feb. 18 at the House of Events, 108 Main St.

Schurman, who is challenging incumbent Scott Brinkmeier in the March 20 Republican primary, will be present to speak to guests.

A social hour will start at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Country band Diamonds in the Rough will perform, and there will be a 50/50 drawing and a pie auction. Tickets are $20, and reservations are due Tuesday.
