MOUNT MORRIS – Mount Morris Public Library’s annual fundraising tea will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the library, 105 S. McKendrie Ave.

This year’s program will feature hats and history, presented by Betty Obendorf. Those attending are encouraged to wear a hat, and must provide their own place setting.

The Mount Morris Community Library Foundation will provide quiche, scones, sweets and tea.

Children 10 and older must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are $15 and must be bought by Thursday at the library.

The Mad Hatter Tea Party, just for boys and girls ages 5 to 9, will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Advance registration is required, because children will be given a top hat to take home and decorate. Hats will be judged at the party and a prize will be awarded for the craziest.

Cost is $3. Juice, sandwiches and cake will be served; Wonderland games will be played.
