Free FEMA seminar set for Feb. 28

MOLINE – A free seminar, “Doing Business with FEMA,” will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 28 at the Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center at Black Hawk College, 4703 16th St., Suite G.

The seminar will focus on how to do business with FEMA during disaster operations. The speaker will be Brandon Whittier, a contracting officer with the business transition team for FEMA Region V.

The Illinois PTAC serves 10 counties in northwest Illinois including Bureau, Carroll, Henry, Lee and Whiteside.
