New children’s club starting up

STERLING – Good News Club, an afterschool Bible club for children, will meet for the first time from2:55 to 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Elementary School, 806 E. LeFevre Road.

The club is under the direction of the Child Evangelism Fellowship and hosted by Amazing Grace of Sterling.

For children from kindergarten to second grade, the Good News Club includes Bible learning through games, stories and activities. Future sessions will be Feb. 21 and 28 and March 6, 13 and 20.

Permission slips are required to attend, and are available at the school office.

For more information, call Amazing Grace Church from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays at 815-625-9300.
