CLINTON, Iowa – Mercy Healthcare Foundation is offering health-care-related scholarships from $250 to $1,500 for the 2012-13 academic year.

The scholarships include:  

■ The Mercy Auxiliary Scholarship, available to those pursuing a degree in a health-related field.

■ The Dr. Frank O. Kershner Scholarship, available to those pursuing a nursing degree.

■ The Patrick and Anna McKay Scholarship, available to associates of Mercy Medical Center and their relatives pursuing a health-related degree.

■ The Lori Skiff Memorial Nursing Scholarship, available to Mercy registered nurses pursuing a higher education in the field of nursing.

■ The N.K.L. Scholarship, available to those admitted to a nursing program; scholarship funds are used for education in pursuit of a nursing degree.

■ The Ruthann Papke Scholarship, a new scholarship available to those pursuing a nursing degree.

Applications are available at www.mercyclinton.com; go to the tab “Community Benefit,” then click on “Scholarship Applications.” All applications are due March 31.
