Dixon Police

Estel A. Keefer Jr., 30, of Sterling; Thursday in the 100 block of North Peoria Avenue; two counts of possession of a controlled substance; taken to Lee County Jail.

Eric J. Dewey, 21, of Dixon; Friday in the 700 bock of East River Street; improper lane usage, driving under the influence; given notice to appear in court. Arrested in the same area was Alyse V. Dewey, 19, of Dixon; unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor; given notice to appear in court.


State Police

Crystal N. Machen, 20, of Chicago; 3:28 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 88, Whiteside County; warrant, no valid driver’s license, speeding, obstructing identification; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

James T. Witbeck, 67, of Compton; 12:20 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. 30 and state Route 251, Lee County; battery, unlawful possession of a firearm with no FOID, unlawful possession of ammunition with no FOID card; posted $150.

Monty L. Clark, 20, of Rockford; 8:41 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 39, Ogle County; speeding, no valid driver’s license; posted I-bond.

Michael D. Lauts, 21, of Rock Falls; 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Avenue and Eighth Street, Rock Falls; expired driver’s license, no insurance, no seat belt; posted I-bond.

Alcohol countermeasure arrest; Wednesday at Mr. G’s Grocery Store, Prophetstown; employee Kerry L. Simmons; unlawful delivery of alcohol to a minor; given notice to appear in court.
